Jewelry for Vampire Fans - Part I

Christmas is around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about a creative gift for the teen or preteen girl on your list. It didn’t take long for me to notice that the rage this year seems to be vampires. My 13 year old daughter began her obsession with Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight series, and once she completed that series, immediately immersed herself into the Marked series by P.C. Cast. No complaints from me - at least she’s reading and not watching TV! With the Twilight movie coming out at Thanksgiving, I believe jewelry related to vampires will be a big hit this year. I’ve done some research and have found several promising designs when looking for Gothic, medieval, Renaissance, Celtic, Mystic, amber, amethyst, and yellow topaz. Some of the items I found were a bit over the top for me - a bit too goth for dear ol’ mom but I found the following interesting pieces.

I found this pretty cool site that offers hand-crafted jewelry from Russia. This is a unique amber ring with sterling silver band.
