Gift Ideas, Men's Jewelry, WatchesMen’s Jewelry Gift Ideas for Veterans
Next week, on November 11th, is Veteran’s Day. For the Veteran on your shopping list, whether it’s for Christmas, Birthday or Father’s Day, I always have a hard time finding a gift that’s suitable for my Dad and Father-in-Law. Sure, I can go with the proverbial tie, sweater, or wallet like everyone else, but do they really want these things? Both my Father and husband’s dad are proud military veterans and this year I decided to look into finding jewelry that proclaims their service to our country. I found that there are quite a few sites that offer watches depicting military branches (even specific divisions) as well as for service in particular wars like Vietnam, Korea, World War II, and the Gulf Wars.
Here are some recommendations for the veteran on your shopping list:
The site militaryvetspx.com offers watches for each branch of the service. Here’s a great looking U.S. Navy logo watch:
I also liked the selection of men’s watches from SoldierCity.com:
I absolutely love this ring from the Franklin Mint. It features the Vietnam Veterans war memorial and authorized by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
Available from Reeds Jewelers, this men’s titanium dog tag comes with a 22″ stainless steel bead chain.
