On Memorial day, we remember the men and women who are not only serving our country today but those who have done so in the past.  Their honor and courage is what holds our country together in times of strife and uncertainty and allows those of us at home to feel safe.  We can’t personally thank each of these brave individuals, so sometimes wearing a simple pin or piece of jewelry can visually symbolize our appreciation.  Be it a yellow ribbon, an American flag, or our nation’s colors… all of these emblems make a tacit statement that we do care.  So, wear the colors, pin on a flag, let our servicemen know that they are and have always been in our thoughts and prayers.
