Jewelry Glitz at the 2010 Emmy Awards
The Emmy’s, like the Academy Awards, are basically, an opportunity for celebrities to wear gowns and jewelry that the rest of us dream about wearing. We enjoy commenting on the ensembles worn almost as much as we do celebrating or expressing exasperation over the winners.
One of the most noticeable jewelry trends at this year’s Emmy’s was the sparkling display of Everlon Diamond Knot jewelry. Celebraties including Katrina Bowden of “30 Rock”, Gail Simmons of “Top Chef”, Giuliana Rancic of “E!” and Kate Gossliin of “Kate Plus 8″ were each adorned with gorgeous earrings, rings, and bangle bracelets representative of the jewelry style.
The Everlon Knot was created to emulate the Hercules Knot, an ancient symbol of unbreakable love. At the center of the knot, rests a diamond, one of the strongest materials on earth. Without the diamond, the knot would unravel. Symbolically, the jewelry expresses the believe that the ties of love are bounded and both enduring and indestructible.
