In a couple of days, that pesky old groundhog is supposed to pop out of his hole and determine whether or not it’s time for Spring.  We’ve all got our fingers crossed that Winter will make a hasty exit.  Whether Phil sees his shadow or not, it makes me feel better to wear jewelry that reminds me of Spring.  Pastel colors, butterflies, flowers, birds… all of these symbolize Spring and remind us of the freshness and warmth the season promises.   Brightly colored, seasonal jewelry makes the wearer feel fresher, warmer, and more cheerful as well.  Who knows, maybe wearing seasonal jewelry will provide the little extra luck the groundhog needs and escalate the coming of Springtime.  It certainly can’t hurt.
