Recently, our 16 year-old obtained her driver’s license. It took a grand total of two hours before she asked to borrow the family car. Since then, she’s been raiding my purse and her Dad’s pile of “stuff” for our sets of keys. It finally occurred to my husband and I that it was time for our teenager to have her own set of keys, not only the ones for the car, but also house keys. I scrounged around the house and managed to come up with a spare key ring but realized she would need a key chain of her own as well. A key chain not only keeps keys together, but helps us easily identify one set of keys from another. In our household, it’s a long established fact that teenagers lose everything. They are constantly leaving their belongings behind at friends houses, so a key chain is a “must have”. Fashion, designer, hobby or sports themed, and collegiate key chains are an excellent gift idea for the teen on your holiday shopping list.
