Red is generally seen as the color that represents Valentine’s Day. In the last few years, however, pink hearts, cupids, and etched words of love have become increasingly common. Pink is definitely a more subtle color than red, even in it’s strongest hues. The meaning of the color choice over red for Valentine’s Day can be inferred to imply a softer emotion, even a non-romantic bond.
