About Class Rings
My teenager recently came home from school with information regarding high school class rings. This started my husband and me reminiscing about when received our own class rings. To each of us, these rings represented the attainment of a major milestone in our lives. We both recalled how proud we were when we wore the rings, not only because of the proclaimed achievement, but also for the statement of sentimentality and loyalty to our respective schools. Admittedly, when we went on to college, we each replaced the high school ring with a university class ring. Though we remained loyal to our high schools, somehow, the collegiate allegiance became more important to us. Our recommendation to our teenager was to buy both rings. Although we recognized that the high school ring would be worn for a much shorter period of time, it would still be one of the most worn and loved pieces of jewelry that she would ever have. Class rings, like those made by ArtCarved, are unique pieces of jewelry and a statement of who and what we are at a moment forever frozen in time. This level of personalization isn’t found in any other form of jewelry. The ability to choose between school names, gemstone colors, mascots, sports, clubs, and years, as well as individualized initials, and inscribed quotes make this type of jewelry extra special.
