The LEGO Company, famed for their wonderful building sets for kids, has expanded to offer a line of watches for boys and girls. The premise behind these watches is similar to that of many of LEGO’s powered building sets in that each set (watch) offers a popular theme, building plans, an assortment of colorful LEGO links, and a working power source (in this case, a quartz movement watch face). The selection of watch themes are perfect, and include popular characters from Star Wars and Toy Story, Disney princesses, and general themes such as sports and heroes (firefighters, police, warriors). The LEGO links are provided for the child to design and build his/her own watchband. The watch face easily clicks into place. Each package also includes a matching, build-able, action figure. Watches are water resistant, scratch resistant, and offer a one year warranty. LEGO watches are a wonderful gift idea for kid’s birthdays.
