The Colors of Autumn

Fall jewelry should imitate leaf color. Autumn’s vivid reds, yellows, golds, oranges and browns are replicated in gemstones. I am especially attracted to the yellows in citrines (which is November’s birthstone) and amber and the brown of smoky quartz. These gemstones compliment most seasonal clothing, especially fall leather and suede. Gold jewelry is also appropriate for fall, and I found lots of gold in the marketplace, either leaf shaped or etched with leaf designs. Chunky and noticeable also appear to be in this year.
