Every year when my family puts up our Christmas tree, each of us is filled with the magic of happy memories.   I see the Celluloid reindeer and the faded and chipped glass balls and fondly reminisce about being granted the privilege of putting them on my grandmother’s tree.   My teenage daughter insists on being the one to hang the Barbie ornaments that she’s received as an annual gift from her grandparents.  The “First Christmas Together”, the “First Home”, and “Baby’s First Year” ornaments are all carefully unwrapped and earn prominent positions on our tree.  Holiday ornaments, because they are seen for only a short time each year, bring a rush of nostalgia and joy.  There is no better gift than a Christmas ornament to mark a special occasion from the year.  Swarovski’s limited edition, collectible ornaments are some of my favorites because of the way the crystal catches and reflects the Christmas lights.  The dazzle and glitter of a Swarovski ornament is guaranteed to make it one that is passed down and remembered fondly by future generations.
