Watches for Veteran’s Day
This Friday, November 11, is Veteran’s Day. It’s an important day for us to honor those brave men and women who’ve fought for our country in times of war and kept us safe in times of peace. Veteran’s Day, originally called Armistice Day and later Remembrance Day, was first proclaimed a federal holiday in 1919. President Woodrow Wilson wanted to establish a day to mark the signing of the peace accord ending World War 1 while recognizing the courage and sacrifice of the war veterans who’d fought so valiantly to attain it.
Citizen’s Military Eco-Drive watches are a wonderful gift idea for veterans, military personnel, or anyone wanting to honor those in uniform, past or present. Citizen’s Eco Drive watches are stainless steel, water resistant, and best yet, never need batteries. The Eco-Drive technology allows them to charge in both natural and artificial light. So, think green, but make it fatigue green in honor of our soldiers.
