Today brings us an opportunity to thank our brave soldiers who continually put their lives on the line to protect our country from tyrants and the terror they induce.  Their courage reminds us, as a people, that freedom is not always easy, and must be fought for.  Whether we gather at memorials, raise flags in front of our homes, or wear patriotic jewelry, we want our troops to know that we appreciate all they have done for our nation.  Their diligence, valor, and steadfastness has made us feel safe and very proud to be Americans.  (Of note, the Swarovski company donates a portion of proceeds on certain selections of patriotic jewelry, including the Yellow Ribbon pin, to the U.S.O.)
