My favorite color is purple and I just love the amethyst gemstone.  Amethyst is the birthstone of February and I wish all the time that I was born in February so that I could have amethyst as my birthstone.  However, my daughter was born during the month of February so now I get to spoil her with the beauty of amethyst jewelry and we both get to share the love of purple.
