Gift Ideas for Christmas
The clock is ticking. It’s already November first and I, as usual, have not started my Christmas shopping. I like to pretend my drop dead end date for shopping is the day before Thanksgiving. To me, there is a clear difference between shopping for fun and fighting a mob but I never seem able to quite finish when I’d like to. One of my problems is finding a suitable gift for the people on my gift list that I want to remember but don’t really know their likes and dislikes, like my kid’s teacher or the neighbor that collects the mail and feeds the cat when I’m out of town. When my husband and I got married, someone gave us a collectible Christmas ornament and I thought what a great gift idea. Each year when I hang the ornament on our tree, I remember the friend who gave it to us even though I no longer live in the same area and haven’t seen her in years. Swarovski makes gorgeous and festive crystal ornaments that are the perfect gift to show your appreciation for those friends and associates who’ve played an important role in you and your family’s lives. I’m especially fond of Swarovski ornaments because of the way the crystal is crafted to reflect and sparkle against Christmas tree lights. Swarovski designs ornaments to become an important part of any Christmas tradition and are sure to be passed along to future generations.

The Zodiac Symbol for those of us lucky enough to be born between July 24th and August 23rd is Leo. Admittedly, I know very little about Astrology, but I think Leo has to be the premier sign because it seems to boast the best of everything. For example, Leo's ruling ...continue

Every year when my family puts up our Christmas tree, each of us is filled with the magic of happy memories. I see the Celluloid reindeer and the faded and chipped glass balls and fondly reminisce about being granted the privilege of putting them on my grandmother's tree. My teenage ...continue

Collectibles are a great gift idea for graduates. Hopefully, the chosen collectible represents something significant to the new created alumnae. The collectible may iconify an interest, a club or activity the student participated in, or the school itself. Traditionally, guys love sports collectibles, especially if they are worn, signed or ...continue

Nothing makes a Christmas tree sparkle like Swarovski Crystal's collectible holiday ornaments. If you are unfamiliar with the brand, just think of the star that tops the most famous Christmas tree, the one showcased in New York's Rockefeller Center. In 2004, the company won the prestigious honor of creating the ...continue
